COURSE 1
OLFACTION TRAINING
Introduction and Over-view of course:
The course is created by Creezy Courtoy, anthropologist, after one life research on olfaction. Creezy Courtoy is the author of the book "The Importance of the Olfactory Sense."
It is a Natural Olfaction Training Course! You won't need anything else than every natural odour surrounding you in your daily life.

• Primary use of the olfactory sense.
• Animal examples
• Importance of olfaction

Module 2 - Introduction to Odors

• The nature of odor and the olfactory system

Module 3 - The Psychology of Olfaction

• How scents, fragrances and perfumes impact our mind
• Olfactory messages to the brain 
• Sensations and memories

Module 4 - The Physiology of the Olfactory Sense

• Discover the impact of scents on your body
• Travel with a scent through your body
• Messages to hormones
• Messages to the nervous system
• Messages to DNA

Module 5 - The Olfactory Sense Training

• Breathing and smelling, learning how to breathe correctly to benefit from odors 
• Methods to preserve and develop the olfactory sense
• Anosmia, hyposmia & dysosmia
• Methods to restore the olfactory sense

Module 6 - The Beneficial Power of Flower and Plants

• Introduction to aromatherapy 
• Example of several plants and their beneficial power.

Module 7 - Research on olfaction

• History of Research
• Importance of Olfaction in Perfumotherapy

Each module is followed by a test (2 modules and 2 tests / week).

COURSE 2
FRENCH NATURAL PERFUMERY
The following is a Natural Perfumery intensive course given by Andrej Babicky, Certified Natural Perfumer, Teacher and Member of The Teacher's Academy.

Introduction and Overview of the Course:

Module 1: Introduction to Natural Perfumery
Content: Explore the historical evolution of perfumery, continue training your olfactory sense, learn about the New Luxury Code and the standards set by the International Perfume Foundation.
 
Module 2: Olfactory Families
Content: Deep dive into the different olfactory families, understanding their facets, and mastering perfume terminology.
Activities: Smelling exercises to identify family traits and on their role in perfume composition.

Module 3: Natural Perfume Raw Materials and Extraction Techniques
Content: Introduction to natural perfume ingredients and the methods used for their extraction.
Activities: creation of a simple natural extract and evaluation of their effects on scent profiles.

Module 4: Essential Raw Materials
Content: Study the 50 most common natural raw materials used in perfumery, focusing on their main characteristics and olfactory profiles.
Activities: evaluation and comparison of raw materials.

Module 5: Perfume Structure and Creation
Content: Learn the structure of a perfume from conception to creation, including the significance of top, heart, and base notes.
Activities: Accord exercises

Modules 6 to 8: Creative Exploration
Content:  Progressive development of creative skills in perfume creation, focusing on the formulation of simple and complex accords.
Activities: Each module includes practical exercises to create distinctive accords and integrate them into unique perfumes.

Module 9: From Idea to Perfume
Content: Techniques to translate creative ideas into actual perfumes, including the use of inspirations and mood boards.
Activities: Develop a concept into a fragrance using provided themes and materials.

Module 10: Certification and Future Prospects
Content: Overview of professional standards and expectations in natural perfumery as defined by the IPF Luxury Code. Preparation for the final examination.
Activities: Mandatory one-on-one Zoom session to refine techniques and discuss the creation process.
