Distributing a perfume in several countries can be a real challenge. It can be just a failure for famous brands, but a dangerous game for small brands who can financially loose everything. In the art of fragrance creation, understanding the anthropology of perfume is essential. This course explores the interplay between anthropology and perfumery, examining the cultural, social, historical, and psychological aspects that shape scent preferences and the use of fragrances. Students will gain a deeper understanding of how anthropological principles can inform the creation, marketing, and consumption of perfumes. With this course, students can also decide to become Certified Perfume Anthropologist. You can study where you want and when you want. Each module is followed by a test. Modules are sent on Monday and Tests are sent on Friday. Personal Zoom Meeting before and survey after the course. Length of the course: 5 weeks (2 modules / week). This Course is an intensive program into the Anthropology of Perfume. This specific course is for Perfumers or for teachers willing to teach the Anthropology of Perfume in Universities. This course is part of the International Perfume Foundation Curriculum.
