Introduction and Over-view of Course: Developing your own special organic healing garden is one of the most rewarding experiences, including watching your ecosystem grow (spotting a small butterfly or ladybug for example), watching your plants grow and bloom, then devouring their fragrances and finally harvesting. It is a combination of sensory experiences that bring wonderful health benefits. This course will explain the history of healing gardens and their health benefits and also show you how to design, develop, and maintain your healing garden (size does not matter). For your final plan you will select fragrant plants from a wide range of plant families that best suit your climate. |
