ACCORDS - MUSKS

This course is given by Françoise Rapp Certified Master Natural Perfumer, and Member of The Teacher's Academy.
In this workshop, you study the different musks in the perfumery market and history:
Weekly Modules Module 1 History, Origin, and Composition & Its Importance in Perfumery. This module will cover some historical aspects of musk in the perfumery world. In addition, we will gain awareness of the importance of natural perfumery compositions. Module 2 Analysis and Evaluation of Plant-based Materials. We will select and analyze suitable plant-based materials and evaluate their contribution to the composition of the accord or fragrance. Module 3 Introduction to Formulating Musks Accords. In this module, you will learn accords' creation, structure, and how they contribute to harmonizing natural fragrances. In addition, you will practice creating musk accords. Module 4 Evaluation and Variations on Musks Accord. In this module, we will see how to make changes to an accord and substitute some raw materials and create variations on the theme. Notes: The class is intensive and suitable for Advanced beginners, intermediate, advanced. After registration, the list of raw materials to be purchased will be sent. Length of the course: 4 weeks (1 module / week).
